When you’re looking at working from home there’s basically two choices. You’ll either be working for a company, or working for yourself. I’m not sure how you’d work for a normal company from home but I’m sure most people working online work for themselves anyway.
I’ve been a work at home mom for 3 years and believe me if you wanna work at home it’s gonna take some hard work and a lot of research.

There’s plenty of places you can pay for the information (even though there’s a lot of scam sites too) One of the really hard things about working at home is staying focused. You’d be surprised how hard it is to just sit down and work at home infront of your computer for hours on end. There’s some days I hardly make $50 because I just can’t focus and other days if I’m having a really good day and working hard I’ll make as much as $300. Like anything in life, you get what you put into it. Anyway if you ever have any questions you can always send me an email. Remember, look at what other people are doing. Some of the more legit things are things like ebay that aren’t that hard to do. (Just finding a good drop shipper is one of the main parts)

I have been receiving some of these ads but I would want to be sure of what am getting into.
First of all you need to appreciate that the vast majority of research companies are only interested in US, Canadian, UK and Australian residents, with a few specialist European companies. Elsewhere in the world, and particularly in countries where Paypal is not available, the opportunities are greatly restricted.
You should also be aware that no legitimate market research company will ever ask you for any money, or credit card details, even when they send you products to test. Any site that asks otherwise is either charging you for information freely available elsewhere or are scamming you into thinking you are carrying out market research but are actually just selling something.
If you visit one of the good free online survey directories like http://www.whichsurveys.com you'll find details of hundreds of genuine market research companies, listed by country, with a paragraph or two about each company so that you can see what payment is on offer and whether the research undertaken is likely to be relevant to you personally. Online surveys can be a great source of income if you've got a few hours spare every week. There are many market research companies that send our surveys to people and, in return for your time, they'll give you a cash or gift reward.
I've had a few payments into Paypal and a few cheques come via post and, even though you won't rich from it, I recommend them if you have time.
However, one piece of advice that i can offer is - Don't pay for lists of market research companies. Why? Because they are available on the internet for free.
