Can someone tell me about paid online surveys?

Posted by admin

Are they legit? Can you actually earn money?Or does anyone have an idea of how I can make a little extra money online? Any info would be greatly aprecciated. Thanks so much.

Stay away from Cash Create and other survey Web sites!

It's a waste of time and will cause you unhappiness.

If you choose to get suckered in and sign up to take surveys and receive free trials considered you were warned. The minute you give them your credit card and personal information you have now opened your computer to unwanted cookies on your hard drive, annoying pop-up windows and if you are on a PC you open your computer to viruses that can wipe you out.

All scams that will either make you pay to belong or dump so much spyware on your machine that your machine is rendered useless.

There's just one survey site I heard that's legit. My daughter does it. It's called Pinecone Research Surveys. But you have to be invited to participate. Don't do Cash Crate. I tried them. All their surveys are is ads, would you choose this product or this product? Endless lists and at the very end, they make you purchase one of the products to complete the survey! Good luck.

There are a lot of legitimate on-line survey programs, but you will never get rich participating in them. (In other words…don't give up your day job!) I am a member of several different sites, and get an occasional check for $10 or so in the mail, or a PayPal deposit of $2 or $3, and sometimes a gift card from one of several different stores from $5 - $25.

If you are interested in making a steady income on-line, you might look into the option of starting a web-based store which you can tie into auctions on e-bay and yahoo, among other things. There is an initial start-up cost for most of these, but the potential for making a good part-time income is definitely there. The one I'm familiar with (because I just started) is BrightBuilders.com. Check out their website for additional information.

Considering the fact that they usually ask you for money first, I would be wary. I am sure there may be one out there that is legitimate, but for the most part any time they want money from you up front (starting fee, registering fee, etc.) I would stary away from it.

I filled out tons of surveys and got paid for ONE. $5.00.
Most of the surveys are designed to kick you out for a wrong answer about 3/4s of the way through so they don't have to pay you.

I know some of the sites which conduct online surveys but if U wants to earn from them it could be wait & watch. If they are legit or not U will come to know only after getting paid out of the surveys U have done for them. Even I'm also waiting…..

I make about $20 a month doing surveys–only takes 2-3 hours (would like to do more, but that's all I qualify to do).

I've listed some of the sites I have taken surveys through and actually been paid (or recieved other rewards like gift cards or CDS) on the following site, if you are interested:

    http://www.windhavenweb.com/surveys

I list how they pay you, what I like and dislike about them, whether they have an affiliate or referral program, etc.

There are others out there. Be careful though, there are also scams. Don't sign up for any survey site which asks you to pay to access the surveys. Also watch for language like "get paid for taking surveys AND SIGNING UP FOR OFFERS" if you don't want to have to sign up for stuff with other companies to get paid.

Always carefully read their terms of service and privacy policy. If in their privacy policy they say they only use aggregated info, this is GOOD SIGN they are legit. Aggregated info information that is grouped together so it can't be connected with anyones personal identification like name, e-mail, phone or address. That's what survey sites SHOULD collect. Avoid sites that say they give, rent, or sell any personal information (info that is not agregated) to third parties (unless you really don't mind getting junk mail, telemarketing calls, and spam).

Also just recently came across a good survey ratings site that I've found very helpful:
